주요업무

• 고객사 로봇 설치 및 시운전(Commissioning)

• 로봇 설정(Configuration) 및 기술 지원

• 현장 Troubleshooting 및 유지보수(A/S)

• 고객 대상 로봇 교육 및 프로그래밍 지원

• 한국 본사 엔지니어와 기술 협업

• 제품 데모 및 기술 지원

• 현장 피드백 및 기술 문서 작성

지원자격

• Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics 또는 관련 전공 학사 이상

• 산업용 로봇 또는 협동로봇 운용 및 프로그래밍 경험

• 기계 조립(Mechanical Assembly) 및 전기 배선(Electrical Wiring) 경험

• Robot Mechatronics 기초 지식

  • Servo Motors

  • Harmonic / Cycloidal Reducers

  • Multi-axis Kinematics

  • Articulated Robot Architecture

• Linux 환경 사용 가능

• Python 또는 C++ 기초 활용 가능

• 영어로 고객 대응 가능

• 미국 내 합법적 근무 가능자

• 미국 운전면허 소지자

• 국내 출장(약 60%) 가능자

우대사항

• Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET 등 산업용 통신 경험

• RoboDK, RobotStudio, RoboGuide 등 OLP 경험

• PLC(Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff) 경험

• ROS / ROS2, Docker, Git 활용 경험

• 산업용 로봇 Field Service 또는 Application Engineer 경력

Robotics Field Application Engineer

Rainbow Robotics USA is seeking motivated and talented Robotics Field Application Engineers to join our growing US team.

• Up to 60% regional travel across the East, West, and South United States

Rainbow Robotics (KOSDAQ: 277810), founded by researchers from KAIST, is a leading robotics company developing a diverse portfolio of robotic solutions, including collaborative robots (Cobots), dual-arm robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and quadruped robots. As we continue expanding our presence in North America, we are looking for passionate engineers to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Korean proficiency is preferred but not required

• Install, commission, and configure robotic systems at customer sites

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues

• Provide customer training on robot operation, teaching, and programming

• Perform field service, maintenance, repairs, and after-sales support

• Collaborate with engineering teams at our Korea headquarters to resolve technical issues

• Support product demonstrations and application testing

• Document field activities and provide technical feedback for product improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)

• Foundational knowledge of robot mechatronics, including:

  • Servo motors

  • Harmonic/Cycloidal reducers

  • Multi-axis kinematics

  • Articulated robot architecture

• Hands-on experience with robot teaching and programming on at least one collaborative or industrial robot platform

• Mechanical assembly and electrical wiring experience

• Comfortable working in Linux environments

• Basic programming skills in Python and/or C++

• Strong English communication skills

• Valid US work authorization

• Valid US driver's license

• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Modbus TCP/RTU, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET

• Offline programming (OLP) experience using RoboDK, RobotStudio, RoboGuide, or similar tools

• PLC programming and integration experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff)

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Docker, and Git

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Field Application Engineer in robotics or industrial automation

• Korean language proficiency is a plus, but not required
